SECC Warden Receives Certificate of Appreciation from National Guard * 05/27/2011

During recent flooding in the Missouri Bootheel, Southeast Correctional Center Warden Jeff Norman worked with the Missouri National Guard 70th Troop Command Task Force, allowing the SECC offender population to fill sandbags on-site with sand delivered by the National Guard. Minimum-security offender crews assisted with sandbagging in affected areas of the community, including Dutchtown, East Prairie, Morehouse and Caruthersville. The Missouri National Guard presented Warden Jeff Norman with a certificate of appreciation for SECC’s support and assistance in maintaining the strength of the National Guard and the state of Missouri.
