April 20-26, 2020
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 10:12 a.m. on April 20, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer multiple times in the head with a stinger, slammed the officer to the concrete and kicked the officer in the head. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Northeast Correctional Center: At approximately 8:15 p.m. on April 21, 2020, an offender assaulted two officers. The offender grabbed one officer by the forearm and attempted to strike another officer in the head, neck, and/or facial area. In the process the officer injured their right elbow and left knee. The offender bite the officer in the right bicep.. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officers did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Potosi Correctional Center: At approximately 12p.m. on April 23, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender stabbed the officer in the left abdomen area. Additional officers responded, the offenders was restrained. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 1:10 a.m. on April 26, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender spat at the officer striking the officer in the neck and shoulder area. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 4:32 p.m. on April 26, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender spat blood and saliva at the officer striking the officer on the palm of both hands and right knee. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 4:30 pm. on April 26, 2020, an offender assaulted two cooks. The offender grabbed one cook by the back of the head and kicked another cook knocking the cook into the mini fridge. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The cooks did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
