Dec. 23-29, 2019
Southeast Correctional Center: At approximately 1:13 p.m. Dec. 25, 2019, during a physical altercation between several offenders, an offender assaulted an officer. The officer was placing the offender on the ground and injured his right knee. Additional officers responded, the offenders were restrained. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Jefferson City Correctional Center: At approximately 9:10 p.m. Dec. 26, 2019, an offender assaulted two officers. The offender grabbed both officers’ genitals and spat on one office striking the officer in the facial area. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Algoa Correctional Center: At approximately 6:06 p.m. Dec. 26, 2019, an offender assaulted three officers. The offender struck two officers in the head and body and struck another officer in the facial area. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officers received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Boonville Correctional Center: At approximately 1:33 a.m. Dec. 28, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer multiple times in the facial area and body with a closed fist. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Potosi Correctional Center: At approximately 9:11 a.m. Dec. 29, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer in the right side of his lower back. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation will be issued for this assault. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 10:24 p.m. Dec. 29, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender spat at the officer striking the officer in the facial region. Additional officers responded, the offender was restrained. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
