Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 3:55 p.m. on July 12, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The officer was escorting the offender when the offender spat in the officers facial area. Additional officers responded and the offender was restrained. The officer required outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 5:15 p.m. on July 12, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender threw a cup of fecal material through the food port striking the officer facial area, torso, chest and legs. Additional officers responded and the offender was restrained. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
