June 15-21, 2020
Fulton Reception & Diagnostic Center: At approximately 4:27 p.m. on June 15, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer multiple times in the facial area with closed fists. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Tipton Correctional Center: At approximately 10:30 p.m. on June 16, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The officer was removing the offender’s wrist restraints, the offender spun around and yanked the restraints, injuring the officers left thumb. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Southeast Correctional Center: At approximately 7:28 p.m. on June 17, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender threw an unknown substance at an officer, striking the officer on the back and back of the head. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Potosi Correctional Center: At approximately 8:43 a.m. on June 19, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender grabbed the officer’s arm through the food port. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Southeast Correctional Center: At approximately 5:00 p.m. on June 19, 2020, an offender assaulted several officers. The offender threw an unknown substance at the officers, striking the officers on the head, arms, chest area, hand, right hip, abdomen and legs. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officers did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 3:30 a.m. on June 21, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer in the left jaw with a closed fist. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Moberly Correctional Center: At approximately 10:25 p.m. on June 21, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer in the head and facial area with a closed fist and bit three fingers on the officer’s left hand. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
