March 16-22, 2020
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 12:45 a.m. on March 18, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender spat at the officer, striking the officer in the back of the head and shoulder area. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 8:27 a.m. on March 18, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer in the abdomen. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 10:20 p.m. on March 20, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender kicked the officer in the face and spat in the officer’s eye. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Potosi Correctional Center: At approximately 6:45 p.m. on March 21, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer in the face with a closed fist, knocked the officer to the ground and continued striking the officer. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
