May 18-24, 2020
Algoa Correctional Center: At approximately 6:50 a.m. on May 18, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. When the officer was opening the food port, the offender forcefully pushed against the food port door injuring the officers left wrist & hand. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 3:50 p.m. on May 18, 2020, an offender assaulted a registered nurse and an officer. The offender threw an unknown substance striking the nurse and the officer in the facial area, shoulder and arm. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The nurse received outside medical attention. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 3:09 p.m. on May 18, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer with in the facial area with a closed fist. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 6:10 p.m. on May 21, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender threw an unknown substance at the officer, striking the officer on the lower left side of the body. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 9:00 a.m. on May 24, 2020, an offender assaulted a nurse. The offender spat at the nurse, striking the nurse in the face & chest area. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The nurse did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Moberly Correctional Center: At approximately 5:35 p.m. on May 24, 2020, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender pushed a food cart into the officer, struck the officer several times in the head, facial area and upper body. The offender then chocked the officer and held the officer against the wall. Additional officers responded, the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
