Oct. 28-Nov. 3, 2019
Algoa Correctional Center: At approximately 5:14 p.m. Oct. 28, 2019, an offender assaulted two officers. The offender threw an orange striking one officer in left leg, ricocheted and hit the second officer in the left leg as well. Additional officers responded and the offender was secured. The officers did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Northeast Correctional Center: At approximately 2:37 p.m. Oct. 30, 2019, an offender threw urine at three officers. The officers were struck in the pelvic area, both legs and on the boot. Additional officers responded and the offender was secured. The officers did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Western Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 1:40 a.m. on November 2, 2019, an offender assaulted two officers. The offender grabbed an officer’s wrist and pushed him into a cell. An additional officer assisted and received a small laceration on left palm and abrasions on left wrist. Additional officers responded and the offender was secured. The officers did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
