Feb. 17-23, 2020
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 6 p.m. on Feb. 19, 2020, an offender spat on an officer, striking the officer on the back. Additional officers responded, and the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 5 p.m. on Feb. 20, 2020, an offender sprayed an unknown liquid substance through the food port, striking an officer in the front upper torso, face, mouth, nose, head, shoulder, legs and hip. Additional officers responded, and the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
