Aug. 19-25, 2019
Eastern Reception, Diagnostic & Correctional Center: At approximately 2:05 a.m. on Aug. 21, 2019, an offender struck an officer in the chest, shoved the officer backward and struck the officer in the head and body several times. Additional officers responded, and the offender was secured. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 12:08 p.m. on Aug. 23, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender sprayed the officer with an unknown substance. Additional officers responded and the offender was secured. The officer did not require medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Jefferson City Correctional Center: At approximately 8:40 p.m. on Aug. 23, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer several times in the head. Additional officers responded and the offender was secured. The officer required outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
