June 24-30, 2019
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 12:55 p.m. on June 24, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The officer was escorting the offender when the offender spat in the officers facial area. Additional officers responded and the offender was restrained. The officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Farmington Correctional Center: At approximately 11:24 p.m. on June 24, 2019, an offender assaulted two officers. The offender struck the officer in the back of the head with a closed fist, after the officer hit their face on the concrete. he officer then struck another officer in the right eye. Officers responded and the offender was restrained. The first officer required outside medical attention. The second officer did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 1:15 a.m. on June 25, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender bit the officers left index finger breaking the skin. Additional officers responded and the offender was restrained. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Potosi Correctional Center: At approximately 9:10 a.m. on June 28, 2019, an offender assaulted two officers. The offender spat on an officer, striking the officer in the left eye and entered the officer’s mouth. The second officer restrained the offender with injuries to the officers left shoulder, neck and middle/lower back areas. Both officers received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Missouri Eastern Correctional Center: At approximately 10:35 a.m. on June 28, 2019, an offender assaulted several officers. The offender struck two officers with closed fists, striking one officer in the left eye. The offender spat on another officer, striking the officer in the right eye and facial area. The two officers did not require outside medical attention. The officer that was spat on, received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Western Missouri Correctional Center: At approximately 9:42 p.m. on June 29, 2019, an offender assaulted several officers. The offender struck two officers with closed fists, striking one officer in the facial area and the other officer in the head. The offender struck another officer in the head with his forearm and the officer struck their head on the sallyport door. he offender ran at another office knocking the officer to the floor. Three officers required outside medical attention. The officer that was knocked to the floor, did not require outside medical attention. A conduct violation was be issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
