Sept. 2-8, 2019
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 12:18 p.m. on Sept. 2, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer and a nurse. The offender sprayed an unknown liquid with a strong chemical smell at the officer and nurse. The officer was struck in the left arm and left side of the officer’s body. The nurse was struck on the right arm. Neither the officer nor the nurse required outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 1:50 p.m. on Sept. 2, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender sprayed the officer with an unknown substance with a strong smell of chemicals, striking the officer in the back. The officer did not require medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 3:28 p.m. on Sept. 2, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender sprayed the officer with an unknown substance, striking the officer in the arm and torso area. The officer did not require medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
South Central Correctional Center: At approximately 1:55 p.m. on Sept. 2, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender grabbed the officer’s leg through the food port. Additional officers responded and the offender was restrained. The officer did not require medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Northeast Correctional Center: At approximately 12:18 p.m. on Sept. 4, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The officer was removing the offenders wrist restraints when then offender pulled away pulling the officers hand into the cell. Additional officers responded and the offender was restrained. The officer received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Southeast Correctional Center: At approximately 8:45 a.m. on Sept. 6, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The spat at the officer striking the officer in the forehead and cheek. Additional officers responded and the offender was restrained. The officer did not require medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Moberly Correctional Center: At approximately 11:44 a.m. on Sept. 6, 2019, an offender assaulted an officer. The offender struck the officer in the center of the chest and shoulder with his left shoulder and forcibly attempted to push passed the officer. Additional officers responded and the offender was restrained. The officer did not require medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
Northeast Correctional Center: At approximately 11:36 a.m. on Sept. 7, 2019, an offender assaulted several officers. The offender grabbed one officer and threw the officer to the floor. The offender grabbed and pinned another officer against a bunk. The offender kicked another officer. Additional officers responded and the offender was restrained. The officer that was pinned received outside medical attention. A conduct violation was issued for this assault. Any assault may be referred for prosecution.
