The Missouri Division of Probation and Parole District 9 serves the counties of Barton, Dade, Jasper, Lawrence, Newton, and McDonald. District 9 is staffed by an average of 50 probation and parole officers providing case management to approximately 53 clients per officer. These officers provide programming to support clients with interstate, felony probation, misdemeanor probation, board cases, sex offender, lifetime supervision, domestic violence, and severe mental illness case needs. The Southwest Region District 9 Probation and Parole Office supervises approximately 2,650 client cases a year.
