The Missouri state owned facility Farmington Correctional Center (FCC) is comprised of approximately 525 total acres in St. Francois County. There are 55 buildings on the facility grounds that include 13 housing units and other supportive services. The facility was originally built in January of 1883 as a training school for boys. At BCC, there are 26 different types of programs including vocational training available to its residents. FCC also has 17 opportunities available to residents to volunteer or work within or outside of the facility.
