The Missouri state owned facility of Northeast Correctional Center (NECC) is comprised of approximately 112 acres in Pike County. There are 24 buildings on the facility grounds to including 11 housing units, medical and chapel, maintenance, staff training and more. The facility was constructed in January of 1996 on existing farmland and opened as a correctional center in 1998. At NECC, there are eight different types of programming available, including vocational work, to support its residents. NECC has one additional opportunity available for residents to volunteer or work within or outside of the facility.
